Design

TEAMJAM® is a celebratory experience that embraces the concept of change, growth and learning for organisations. It is an experiential learning event designed in a multitasking environment that combines the spirit of competition, collaboration and serious play challenging teams to assert their team skills, interpersonal relationships, problem solving and creative abilities while coexisting in both collaborative and competitive relationships.

Benefits

TEAMJAM® is inspired by the improvisational and creative forces that define jazz music. The essence of a jam is creative freedom among the players and the willingness to push boundaries of what is - to what can be! Good to Great.  We are also inspired by the wikinomics of the successes fuelled by mass collaboration from wikipedia to innocentive, Linux to Goldcorp, Myspace to Flickr. Mass collaboration is not only the most significant driver of success in today’s marketplace, it’s helping to transform the way we conduct science, create culture, inform and educate ourselves.

Theory

TEAMJAM® uses chaos theory; multiple intelligences, adult learning and outcome based programming research to create an interactive learning experience to address complex strategic issues. The experience engages participants in a fun learning platform ensuring 100% participation and creates escape velocity for groups to achieve breakthrough business objectives using their collective intelligence.

Imagine combining the environments of a boardroom, business meeting or conference with a circus; rock concert; a BIG party; and an airport, facebook, Indian roads – we see structured chaos.  Goals are clearly given; tasks are well defined, and self organized teams work to create their own strategies for action and respond to competitive/collaborative demands they will face as the event progresses. It is self organisation in action and a quantum leap in organizational learning.

TEAMJAM™ uses a wide range of experiences, instruments and models that will customize the workshop to suit the needs of the organization:

True Colors® is an excellent tool to help create unity in order to accomplish organizational goals. Whether existing or newly formed, team members learn how to bring out the best in each other, how each member's primary color - and a representation of all colors - is important to the team's success, and how to bring up your paler colors for the benefit of the team's goals. TEAMJAM® can bring the true colors interactive live show to further enhance their understanding of each other, strengths and opportunities.

Senior managers continue to provide leadership in the form of solutions, instead of working to improve the organization’s capacity to adapt. This improved adaptability can only be achieved if the leaders change themselves before seeking to change the rest of the organization.
